Greetings to the players of CubixWorld!

In this article, I will share my method of building pre-crafts.

Often, pre-crafts are needed for a constant supply of hoes to farming stations, for the automatic maintenance of cobblestone, sand, glass, etc. in the ME system.

There are many options for building pre-crafts, but I created my own, which looks quite nice and convenient.

To create a pre-craft, we will need:

On a dense cable, place 4 smart cables upwards, and on the 3rd cable, place an ME level emitter.

Point the smart cable at the level emitter and place the ME switching bus directly opposite it, on top.

Extend the cable downwards, remembering to use a Cable Anchor, which is needed to prevent the cables from connecting where they shouldn't.

Step back one block from the last cable and place the mechanism that should produce the required amount of resources; in my case, I placed an electric furnace. (If you are using mechanisms that have input/output settings like from Thermal Expansion, set them according to the export and import bus ratio, where export means input in the mechanism, and import means output)

On top, place the ME export bus, and on the bottom, the ME import bus.

The principle of operation of the constructed structure:

The ME switching bus functions like an ME glass cable and its analogs; when a redstone signal is not sent to the switching bus, it does not pass channels further along the cables, which prevents the export buses from supplying certain resources to the mechanism.

Entering the ME level emitter, we will see the following interface:

In my case, I want to have 10,000 glass in my ME system.

Take the item whose quantity needs to be maintained and insert it into the slot highlighted in red:

Set the required amount and press the button on the left to set the Emit mode when levels fall below the threshold.

In the interface of the ME export bus, place the item needed for crafting in the mechanism of the previously selected item; in my case, this is sand; to speed up the resource supply into the mechanism, you can use an Acceleration Card, which goes into the right slots.

If you are using a Cyclic Assembler as a mechanism that requires not 1, but 2 components for crafting, then place another export bus (which also needs to be configured) but from another available side:

You can connect power in any available way; I use a Point-to-Point EU Tunnel.

Note:

  1. A wireless connector is not mandatory, but it significantly reduces the need for dense cables/smart cables
  2. The length of smart cables upwards can be shortened; I did this only for convenience.
