A mod called CubixCrypto has been added to our server, which introduces mining in the world of Minecraft.

This article will be useful for both beginners and experienced players.

Let's start with what mining is?

In simple terms, Mining  is the extraction of cryptocurrency.

What is cryptocurrency?

Cryptocurrency  is digital money that cannot be physically felt.

In real life, to mine, one needs to set up a crypto farm, install software, and monitor temperature indicators, etc.

A similar system for mining virtual (in-game only) money is available on our servers.

We have three levels of crypto farms:

Level 1 - 4 slots for GPUs:

Level 2 - 8 slots for GPUs:

Level 3 - 12 slots for GPUs:

To operate a crypto farm, energy and the GPUs themselves are required.

A generator that produces energy from coal is used to generate energy:

Note:

*Coal must be placed in a chest located next to the generator*

Since each GPU consumes a certain amount of electricity, we need to calculate the electricity output from the generator. The generator has its upgrades that increase the electricity output.

Without upgrades, the generator produces 165 W:

With level one upgrade, 970 W:

With level two upgrade - 1575 W:

With level three upgrade - 3860 W :

And of course, the GPUs themselves. There are a total of 5 types:

 - consumes 80 W;

 - Average operating time in days: 10.5;

 - Average durability: 15120;

 - Number of cubes per day: 28.8;

GTX 1050 TI 

 - consumes 70W;

 - Average operating time in days: 14;

 - Average durability: 20160;

 - Number of cubes per day: 24.4;

RTX 3060 TI 

 - consumes 110 W;

 - Average operating time in days: 17.5;

 - Average durability: 25200;

 - Number of cubes per day: 88 ;

RTX 3070 TI

 - consumes 130 W;

 - Average operating time in days: 17.5;

 - Average durability: 25200;

 - Number of cubes per day: 104;

RTX 3090

 - consumes 320 W;

 - Average operating time in days: 24.5;

 - Average durability: 35280;

 - Number of cubes per day: 200.

Note:

*The GPU can catch fire and then it will lose some of its durability*

*GPUs produce crypto only in loaded chunks*

*The number of cubes directly depends on the graph*

There are two types of cryptocurrency in the game, Ether and Bitcoin.

You can mine Ethers through mining, while Bitcoin can only be obtained by purchasing.

To check your cryptocurrency balance, enter the command - /crypto.
