Greetings to the players of CubixWorld!
In this guide, I would like to share my knowledge about the CubixCrypt mod, developed specifically for CubixWorld servers.
Various terms will appear in the text:
Cryptocurrency – a type of digital currency.
Mining – the production of cryptocurrency using the power of hardware.
Crypto farm – a set of graphics cards installed in a farm case.
Important clarification: mining is a virtual part of the game and does not affect your real hardware.
I. Items:

Broken Graphics Card – the final state of any graphics card.
Generator Upgrade. Level 1 – an item that allows you to increase the generator's power to 970W.
Generator Upgrade. Level 2 – an item that allows you to increase the generator's power to 1575W.
Generator Upgrade. Level 3 – an item that allows you to increase the generator's power to 3860W.
II. Mechanisms:
Generator – a mechanism that generates power for the crypto farm. Without upgrades, it produces 165W.
It requires coal or charcoal for its operation, which must be in a chest no further than 2 blocks from the generator. If the generator is turned on, it consumes coal every 160 ticks*, regardless of whether the generated power is being used by the farms or not. One generator can power multiple crypto farms.
Upgrades increase the generator's power without increasing coal consumption. To install the next level of upgrade, the previous level must already be installed in the generator.
Farm Case – a mechanism for placing graphics cards in it.
There are 3 levels of cases based on the number of slots for graphics cards and sizes:
Level 1 has 4 slots and is 1 block long
Level 2 has 8 slots and is 2 blocks long
Level 3 has 12 slots and is 3 blocks long
For its operation, the farm case consumes power produced by the generator. When the farm is turned on, it tries to locate a generator within no further than 3 blocks from its main block. If a generator is found, the farm attempts to draw the required power from it. If the power produced by the generator is insufficient for all the graphics cards to operate, the farm shuts down completely. In any case, it will not search for another generator.
For the crypto farm to function, the chunk with the farm case and the generator providing it with power must be loaded.
When the crypto farm is operational, every 1200 ticks (60 seconds at 20 TPS) there is a periodic replenishment of its owner's account. During this process, the graphics cards installed in it lose 1 unit of durability. When the durability of a graphics card reaches zero, it becomes broken.
There is a chance that the farm lags. The lag probability* increases with the number of graphics cards installed in the farm. A lagged crypto farm shuts down and has a visual smoke effect. In such a case, the player needs to turn the farm back on. There is no possibility to turn the farm on by any method other than manually through the farm user interface.
After placing the farm, its ownership by any player is not defined. Ownership is assigned during the first opening of the farm interface. Once the ownership of the farm is established, all cryptocurrency generated by it goes to the account of the owner player, regardless of who purchased and installed the graphics cards in it. To change ownership, the farm case must be dismantled, installed again, and its interface opened. The owner's name is displayed in the WAILA tooltip.
* values may vary for each server
III. Cryptocurrencies
Bitcoin can only be purchased for cubixes. You can only earn it through buying/selling considering changes in the cryptocurrency price.
Ethereum can be mined in farm cases.
You can check your cryptocurrency balance, exchange rate, transaction history, and perform exchanges in the graphical interface accessed with the command /crypto. There is no possibility to transfer cryptocurrency to another player or to convert from one type to another.
The current cryptocurrency exchange rate fully corresponds to the real exchange rate of BTC/USD and ETH/USD. To scale the cryptocurrency price history chart, you can use the mouse wheel in combination with the Ctrl or Shift keys.
I wish players successful trades and plenty of cubixes in their wallets!
