There are about 45 types of flowers in the Botania mod; I will briefly explain what each of them does.

  1. Pure Daisy. It creates the Tree of Life.
  2. Mana Star - shows you loss and penetration.
  3. Daybloom - generates mana during the daytime.
  4. Nightshade - generates mana during the nighttime.
  5. Flame of the Edge - generates mana from coal or other combustible fuels.
  6. Hydroangea - generates mana from water.
  7. Heatlily - generates mana from lava.
  8. Secret Rose - generates mana from experience, sucking it out of the player.
  9. Creeperdew - generates mana from leaves.
  10. Entropinium - generates mana using explosions.
  11. Gurmarlis - generates mana from food.
  12. Kikimora - generates mana by using cakes nearby.
  13. Slimeleaf - generates mana from slime.
  14. Spectrolis - generates mana from wool.
  15. Rafflowsia - generates mana from other flowers (Daybloom, Hydroangea, Nightshade)
  16. Tormented Amaranth - creates mystical flowers from mana.
  17. Spikeycaller - deals damage to mobs using mana.
  18. Scarethorn - deals damage to players using mana.
  19. Heisei Dream - forces mobs to kill each other.
  20. Tiger Eye - removes all creepers from players and the flower.
  21. Marimorphosis - transforms stone into Metamorphic Stone using mana.
  22. Orecolor - makes ore from stone.
  23. Orechid Ignem - makes Nether ores from Netherrack.
  24. Fallen Canadé - quickly heals the player.
  25. Exoflame - fills nearby furnaces with magical fuel.
  26. Agronail - accelerates the growth of nearby plants.
  27. Collector - collects nearby items on the ground and places them in the nearest chest or inventory.
  28. Runocarps - takes any block and places it.
  29. Giulia - scares all monsters around the flower.
  30. Putyberry - keeps all mobs within the flower's radius from escaping.
  31. Gaia Acidus - poisons all nearby mobs but does not kill them completely.
  32. Medumone - inflicts slowness on nearby mobs.
  33. Pollydizzy - feeds all nearby friendly mobs.
  34. Glinarcis - creates clay from sand.
  35. Lootyulip - creates various resources.
  36. Dudemechanic - pushes all dropped items in front of it.
  37. Vinolothos - teleports all nearby endermen.
  38. Whispering Weeds - provides aspects from Thaumcraft to nearby players.
  39. Euclidean Daisy - creates ethereal essence from Thaumcraft using mana.
  40. Thistle - generates mana from waste products of Thaumcraft.
  41. Bloody Thorn - inflicts weakness on nearby mobs.
  42. Spectranthemum - teleports items up to 12 blocks away.
  43. Bubbell - creates an air dome underwater using mana.
