Variable crystal is used in many recipes from Applied Energistics 2. But the most important recipe is Glass cables. For an automated and large ME system, a lot of glass cable is needed. Let's start analyzing the autocraft of the variable crystal.

For the autocraft system itself, we will need: Crystal growth chamber, ME interface, import bus, and regular glass cables to connect to the ME system.

1. In the pattern terminal, place the recipe shown in the picture. (Redstone, charged pure quartz crystal, and regular quartz ---> Variable crystal)

2. Next, place the crystal growth chamber next to the ME interface, as shown in the picture. Open the ME interface and insert our variable crystal template there.

3.Connect the import bus to the crystal growth chamber (for greater efficiency, place acceleration cards) and run glass cables to the ME system. Also, do not forget to connect the ME interface to the ME system.

If you did everything correctly, then in the ME terminal, you will have autocraft for Variable crystal.
