In this article, we will review all available methods for multiplying true quartz and automating the process using mods: Thaumcraft 4.3.2.5, Thaumic Energistics, IndustrialCraft 2, Ender IO, Thermal Expansion, and Applied Energistics 2.

Method #1

This method requires the mods: Thermal Expansion, Applied Energistics 2, Ender IO.

Let's make the following setup:

Using an export bus, we supply true quartz to the Charger from the mod Applied Energistics 2; in this scheme, I decided to use pipes from the mod Ender IO, insert an item filter, and set it up:

We place a crusher from the mod Ender IO, configure the input/output, and put a Dark Steel Ball in a separate slot

Thus, from 1 charged true quartz, we obtain 2 dust.

We send the dust through item pipes to a cyclic assembler, configure the input/output, and set the crafting of true quartz seeds:

We supply sand to the purple input and true quartz dust to the green input:

We place a crystal growth chamber, supply seeds from the cyclic assembler, and wait.

After that, we send the clean true quartz crystals to another cyclic assembler, which will convert 8 crystals into a block, and from that block, we will convert it in the next assembler into regular true quartz.

You can return regular true quartz from the cyclic assembler to ME in whichever way is convenient for you.

It is also worth clarifying a couple of points:

1. The point-to-point and power converter here are only for supplying power; they are not mandatory.
2. To speed up the process, place more chargers, or use pre-crafting; a guide on how to correctly pre-craft will be in the next topic.
3. The Dark Matter Ball is made from resources that can also be easily automated.

Method #2

This method requires the mod Thaumcraft 4.3.2.5, Thermal Expansion, Ender IO, IndustrialCraft 2, Thaumic Energistics; make sure that the Thaumonomicon has a section on Energy

In order to obtain such essences without getting unnecessary ones, I preferred to use these resources:

It seems simple enough, right? Now we need to automate this process.

First, let's make a cobblestone generator; any method will work, but I will be using the cobblestone generator from the mod Cubix Energy Additions.

The generated cobblestone must be supplied to a crusher from the mod IndustrialCraft 2, which turns cobblestone into sand; the sand, in turn, we smelt into glass using any available method, it is best to use an electric furnace (In the crusher, electric furnace, casting mechanism from ic2, I added 10 speed upgrades for greater glass production speed)

As a result, from this setup, we obtain glass, which should go into the cyclic assembler for automatic crafting of bottles and separately into a chest.

 - this is the input to the cyclic assembler, place it on the side where glass is supplied through pipes.

 - this is the output from the cyclic assembler, place it on the side where we will supply bottles to the casting mechanism.

We place the casting mechanism, supply it with bottles and water; for an infinite water source, I am using x4 Tanks from the mod Ender IO.

Add a couple of chests and pipes from the mod Thermal Dynamics:

The glass from the electric furnace should be supplied to the chest and to the cyclic assembler where bottles are made, for this, we set up the pipes correctly.

We place the following setup:

In the left alchemical furnace, we smelt bottles with water; we supply Aqua essence to the alchemical structure through filtering pipes, and Vitreus essence to the void jar, as this aspect obtained from bottles is unnecessary for us; it is produced by the right alchemical furnace.

Also, don't forget that coal must be supplied to the alchemical furnace only from the bottom; otherwise, coal will be supplied to two slots.

This setup will allow us to return 1 true quartz to the alchemical structure, while the multiplied quartz will be supplied to a separate chest.

As a result, we have an automatic setup for multiplying true quartz; to fully optimize the process, it is advisable to set up a coal farm for the alchemical furnaces.
